One of the most common things we hear in the world of marketing today is the phrase "the money is in the list". Even though this might be true building a mailing list is not an easy Endeavour. A person could build a huge business mailing list and generate no sales from that list. Other options people try is to post there ads in bulk email list, this again is an absolute waist of time, if theses list are unresponsive or untargeted. The best email address list to build are list were your subscribers trust you and are interested in the products you’re recommending.

A major mistake people make when building a list, is to not have a good email auto responder service, this is of the utmost importance’s a cheap email auto responder is just that, it’s cheap. With auto responder services you don't want to go cheap because what you lose in potential revenue is much greater then the savings you make having a cheap service. Some people go the route of mailing list software and host auto responders on their hosting account. While this certainly may save you money, there are a lot of drawbacks; one of the main drawbacks is the limit of emails that your hosting provider will allow you to send out in a given time. The only downside to this system is that the traffic is not very targeted; this is not to say that you can't nurture a list like this and build it into a more targeted responsive list, but it would take some time and effort. I have made money from this type of  email address list and continue to make more money with it as I develop it over time. The other thing I found with this type of list it was good for sending CPA offers to the subscribers and had great results with this.
